May 24 will see the public launch at Madrid's Casa de Ámerica building of two key SEPA activities, the Spanish Foundation of Periodontology and Dental Implants, and the SEPA Madrid 2012 conference. Held under the banner of 'An X-ray of dental and periodontal health in Spain', the event will boast the presence of professionals, researchers, university representatives, firms and institutions interested in the promotion of periodontology and dental health. Great turnout for the 1st Clinical Course in Dental Hygiene last Saturday
Last Saturday, May 19, saw SEPA hold the 1st Clinical Course in Dental Hygiene, at a venue in Barcelona. This was a new event, one created to offer participants a most specifically practical training and one that can be immediately applied in daily clinical practice with patients using dental implants. The course attracted a fine turnout, with 30 hygienists present.
SEPA lines up new course next year for hygienists on periodontology and implants
SEPA has programmed a new course to run from January to May, 2013, specifically created for hygienists and to be co-ordinated by Drs. José Antonio Pascual, Margarita Iniesta, and Ignacio Sanz. On completing the course's seven modules, participants will be awarded a diploma in periodontology and dental implants.
